Tired of living with your over-involved parents while working a 9-to-5 job, you decide to take the next step into adulthood and get your own place. That is, until you realise just how jacked-up rent prices are now.
Luckily, salvation comes in the form of your grandmother’s old cottage which your mother suddenly remembers exists. Sure, the village of Shroudfall Cove might not be everybody’s dream destination, but the house looks nice, the sea breeze is always cool and, best of all, no rent!
Take the first steps into your new life in a small, friendly community! Make friends (or enemies) with your mysterious neighbours! Find romance along the way!
And maybe those emails will finally start finding you well.
“Shroudfall Cove” is a slice-of-life/romance visual novel where you get to leave behind the drudgery of a corporate office job and indulge in a cosy, cottagecore fantasy.
The game currently has a demo and is still in development, with two major routes planned out. Changes might occur between this version and the final product.

I'm so glad I gave this a chance. The start was really slow but the game managed to really hook me at the party. Loved the boys, especially Raga. I can't wait for more. Btw, perhaps consider using different text font (bigger, bolder letters). I personally found it quite hard to read
if you want change the text font/size you can shift+a to open the accessability options and you can change the text font and the text size :3
ive been coming back here for a month to see it this AMAZINGGGG demo has been updated. im so hooked onto the characters (hiroki specifically lol), the setting and story, im literally so excited to see where the story goes (and to see more hiroki)
Hoping this project isnt abandoned since this game is AMAZING!! First off for a demo this was great, witty dialogue and jokes really added to the charm this has. The concept itself is so cute and unique that I cannot wait for more of! All the characters,(especially Dion) are so nice to look at and the art is just AAAHHHH!!!<3 Imagining what they'd think of modern brainrot humor is a funny thing to think of while playing. Overall such a charming little game I wish to see more of!

I'm really enjoying this demo! Raga is such a bastard but it is intriguing. Can't wait to see his soft side! Hiroki seems kind, I love how he's trying to teach the kids about human culture.

oh this is a cute one, just as cute as hiroki, the characters are interesting, hiroki being the most interesting one, the art and the character design are so pretty, hiroki being the prettiest of them all, the lore is intriguing, hiroki being the most intriguing amongst all, so far it's been a lovely ride, just as lovely as hiroki, and while i have this chance i have to bring up the fact that hiroki is beautiful, also another fact that hiroki is adorable, and of course i have to mention that hiroki is a lovable silly little guy, and before i forget i have to say that hiroki is stunning and charming and uhh- (googling other adjectives) -divine, alluring, heavenly, bewitching, exquisite, gorgeous, ravishing, magnificent-
okay i'll stop myself here, but one last thing before i walk myself out the door; hiroki needs to tell me what kind of ring he would like because im about to get on my knees and love the heck out of him :) <3

(I played the game cause Hiroki caught my eye, alt/punk/goth characters/ hard shell soft insides are my weakpoints) the descriptions introducing the characters saying how pretty everyone is and but not Hiroki is criminal T-T hes gorgeous to me thank you very much, protective, responsible, sweet and his breathtaking feathered form reminds me of Howl from Howl's Moving Castle and that is absolutely swoon worthy.

AAHH! I just played the demo and I LOVE IT! I'm very interested in learning more about Shroudfall Cove, the lore behind there, as well as Grammy's possible involvement etc. The characters all have an awesome character design, as well as their own personalities and roles which I really like!! Excited to learn more about them!
Ngl, I already dig Raga soo much! Perfect rivals to lovers thing going on! The others I like as well, Dion probably is something like a siren? and I would be interested in learning why he was angry being touched, as well as where he was before coming to the Cove, as he himself is pretty new there. Where was he before that? And the rest? Did they all grow up there? If so, does the mom know them? Is the cave that our MC saw at the beginning important? --- soo many questions! I'm already excited for the finished game and thank you for your hard work!
Also you wrote about two routes, who are those though? Bc honestly I first thought the two routes would be Dion and Raga? But now I'm not sure anymore. And honestly ngl I would love a Hiroki route too (he's so cute as well). Would also love to see if there's more to him and Raga? Or to Raga and Otilia (which I think will be an interesting one as well!!). As well as Ade, who was such an adorable presence and really stands for that whole goal they wanted to accomplish between Human and nightfolk.
All in all, I love this already! Also extra compliments to the beautiful art and perfectly fitting music additions!!

While we can't reveal much about certain plot points (such as Dion's reaction) yet, we can guarantee that many pieces of evidence are waiting to be discovered, hehe. However, what we can reveal right now is that after some discussions, we've decided to expand the list of love interests! The game will now contain 5 potential romantic routes and two platonic ones!

Enjoyed all the characters and their variety of looks and personality's. Even the mc has some flesh out emotions/personality. Although being a nice slow paced visual novel, some parts got me a little confused. But overall really enjoyed playing and very excited for the full game.
